I do not accept this proposition of recruiting an incumbent by just 140 characters of his/her profile. It is not practically possible to gauge one capabilities. Perhaps one may have fabricated his/her profile in order to please someone. Social media/ web 2.0 recruitment if confined to Linkedin et al would be justified. Facebook/twitter/orkut's are a big NO-NO.
